Everybody beware of these con artist I rented a 150cc moped off of these guys on the main road on the left, leading down to Didim seafront for 4 days hire, I paid cash up front as that was their conditions of hire, the moped was in a bit of a state as far as condition goes but all bikes I have rented around the world over the years always are as a rule but are always reliable up to now. On the second day the bike broke down with half a tank of fuel in it, ( so I know it was not out of fuel ), I telephoned the shop but with the language problem as I am English and they speak very little I got nowhere. As I was staying with my English friend who has lived in Turkey for 7 years now and speaks the lingo very well, I walked to his house and asked him to phone the shop on my behalf to explain the problem. He telephoned them and they said it will be 80 euros to collect the bike and the repair cost will be down to me also and will be billed to me at my hotel. This is ridiculous as rental always covers breakdowns etc We was both so disgusted at this we left the bike where it was and the next day we returned the keys on the desk, gave them the location of the bike and walked out of the shop without even trying to discuss the matter further as all they was clearly interested in was getting as much money out of me as possible.. We since spoke to local people about Senol as a rental company and all we heard from the locals was they was the worst possible people to rent off of in Didim as this is a common money making practice with them, so please walk down the road opposite where I rented the replacement bike and had no problems at all.
