A small company which started out in the 1950's became Sampa Otomotiv in order to achieve bigger goals. Today, Sampa, which is one of Turkey's pride and joy in the Automotive sector, supplies the world's leading heavy vehicle, truck and trailer companies with spare parts. Sampa which is an expert in truck and trailer parts, has a wide product scale ranging from springs to cabins, stabilizer parts, brakes,shafts, axles, v-arms and rods, engines, air springs and trailer accessories. This effort is possible because of an attentive and intensive process backed up by high technology.

At Sampa Otomotiv, all new products that will be included in the line up are determined after analysis of market researches and state of the art measurement tests. The technical details of the analyized products are then forwarded to the research and development department to be evaluated for production and proposals. Sampa Otomotiv which has a wide range product line with 30000 different spare parts, knows that the trust of the customer lies in the high quality approach the company always pursues. This is why production is carried out carefully and in total quality starting from the purchase of raw materials all the way through the stages of production and under ISO 9001 standards. In the 4000 square meter closed moulding and machined part production unit, all necessary metal parts are produced with latest technology CNC metal cutting, CNC lathe, CNC drilling, CNC double column and CNC grinding machines by expert moulders using accurate testing and attentive effort. In the 3500 square meter closed metal forming unit, deep drawing and metal sheet cutting needs are tended to. During this process perfection is achieved by using eccentric presses between 40 and 300 tons and hydraulic presses between 50 and 160 tons. With the help of the fully automatic surface coating unit, an aesthetic and full quality coating is accomplished. Polyurethane and plastic products are prepared in the 1500 square meter plastic injection unit, in 250 to 2500 gram production capacity Krauss-Maffei plastic injection moulding machines, with top notch raw materials, without operators, fully automatic, with zero error, and ready for packaging and shipment. In the 4000 square meter closed rubber-metal vulcanization unit, applications are being carried out regarding rubber materials. In these units, vulcanization is done by injection moulding, transfer molding and compression moulding techniques. In Sampa, polymer compound designs are done in labs and the approved compund is produced after the formula has been allowed. Sampa labs are fully equipped, and the tests of polymer, master batch, mixed and finished products are carried out and fast tracked with high technology equipment. Production is carried out bu using CAD (Computer Aided Design), Cam (Computer Aided Manufacturing) and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Technologies. Sampa knows that customer satisfaction lies not only in the quality of the product but that it can be found at the desired time and in the desired amount. Previous activities, year long customer visits, market researches, statistical evaluations, trade fair meetings and sectoral activities are analyzied and stock is always kept at maximum with optimum stock planning. At Sampa Otomotiv, stock, purchasing, quality control, document management, product research and development, finance management, human resources and projest management are tracked digitally by an intigrated ERP (enterprice resource planning) format. At Sampa Otomotiv; work orders, activities between warehouses, the packaging of the order and loading onto the carriers are tracked with a barcode system thus ensuring a consistency and accuracy during shipment.
