All these positive reviews actually are very surprising while staying over there many guest were complaining regarding rooms and the service. On 3rd day of our stay I have slipped on a wet stairs( white marble stairs) and there was no sign of warning. We had to call in emergency doctor as I couldnt move my hand. The managers reaction was - oh you can't really prove you fell down the stairs in our hotel. ?! This was just the beginning . My partner and I have decided to dine at all times at the hotel in order to avoid dodgy food. So Sarcastic! On 4th day I was in hospital unconscious diagnosed with salmonella!!! NOT TO MENTION MY PARTNER GOT FOOD POISON ON THE 7TH DAY!!! If you pay attention the health and safety in the restaurant measures disgrace mayo is put on a table in 40 degrees and once your done they will put the bottle back in the fridge!! Despite not using the mayo and opting for the usual dine choices at the hotel I was a viciting of the food poisiong. On top of that- THE FAMOUS BBQ THEY RECOMMEND they display the food already at 5pm cakes full of cream,salads and other dishes the BBQ starts at 8pm!!! so for 3 hours the food will boil in the hot temperature. No measures were taken that I have been in hospital for 3 days! and I was horrified! The managment is absolute joke and the worse hotel I have ever seen! The manager just hid away behind in the room at the back of reception and was not seen!!! I will apply for compensation and It's a disgrace Sunway would promote a hotel for Irish catered people when incidents like this happen! IF you go back to 2014 reviews YOU WILL NOTICE i WAS NOT FIRST ONE TO GET FOOD POISON THERE!!! Horrified for my life wasted over 1000 eu on holidays which i spend half trying to bring my self together to return to Ireland and my recovery time is estimated approximately 2 months! IF you want to risk it ! Bear in mind what has happened. Also on top of that on a day of our return my partner on our way to airport started having same symptoms and got food poison as well.!!! *Also the beach is a scrap of a wild beach ! that you have to go downhill its so steep and so unsafe! they should not advertise the beach at all! - Another disaster that someone could break their legs! But hey do they care? NOT AT ALL! Absolute disgrace!
