Along with close districts you can find bus to other major touristic city of Turkey. Nevşehir minibus depart from here and the ticket is 3 lira. Ürgüp and Zelve bus don't depart here, its station 100 metre down. Prices are usually fair. Just try to stay away from Metro bus company. Staffs are terrible. Kamil Koç company so so. Other companies usually service in regional, those could recommended.

I purchased a ticket from Goreme to Selcuk.  The coach was just fine.  They serve complimentary snacks and water.

"However" even though the ticket had a destination of arrival in Selcuk, this bus didn't go there (which they don't tell you that), so they transferred me to a mini-bus in a  different city along the way.  A mini-bus that stops at ALL the neighborhood bus stops. 

I didn't mine, but if you're on a tight schedule, just take a plane and be done with it.

I still will rate the service, comfort and price for the coach at a 3 stars.  Could be a 4 if they pre-warn the customer about the mini- bus situation.  I wasn't expecting that at all since Selcuk has a bus station to support large coaches.

Their buses are good along with good staff.
I traveled to Pamukkale by night bus.
Everything was perfect except the receiving end guy at Pamukkale he is some sort of Travel Agent named SEHAN who grabs all passengers in his office and forcibly asks them to book Pamukkale tours.
Hence, if you are travelling in Nevsehir bus and you reach Pamukkale, just leave the area immediately after collecting the luggage to save your self.
