This is a genuinely good place where they do traditional dishes but with a very distinctive twist. Booking is pretty much essential unless you come when it opens - there are not many tables and this place is popular, especially with travellers.
Staff was professional and food was fantastic and imaginative.

Frankly, probably the most anticlimactic experience I have had in the last year... Of course, the place was full, but I seriously can not think it is because of the mostly unimaginative & characterless food on the plates & a poor selection of wine by the glass... Perhaps Meze suffers from being written up on too many tourist guides & believes that full house means being successful? This is a restaurant where the chef will soon need to seriously ask himself if his heart is still into it. There is no question, I will not return on my next trip to Istanbul next March...

Set meal is a lot of food, all of it very tasty. Recommended
