Attention ceci est "une auberge "et non un hôtel mon épouse s'est méprise en voyant les belles photos proposées sur le site nous n'avons heureusement pas séjourné au "mansions by cheers" (soucis de plomberie) nous avons été transféré à un autre hôtel à ce moment là nous n'imaginions pas notre chance .Voulant nous repérer avant de nous y rendre nous sommes tombés face à l'auberge. De l'extérieur comme de l'intérieur nous sommes restés sans voix en voyant l'état du lieu tout sauf attrayant. Nous avons voulu tout de même visiter les chambres afin de ne pas rester sur un a priori et la encore un sentiment de malaise nous a traversé. Rien ne correspondait aux photos. Il était hors de question de rester dans cette auberge sachant que nous avions certaines attentes telle que la propreté, l'hygiène et surtout le calme alors ne vous fiez pas uniquement aux photos du site néanmoins nous avons pu rester à l'hôtel de transition jusqu'à la fin de notre séjour même si le responsable semblait ne pas comprendre notre petit "choc". Anecdote qui aurait pu mal finir!

This is a great place to be in Istanbul, cozy and the people there are amazing! Perfect location, close to Sultanahmet and Hagia Sofia and the tram to Galata or Taksim.

I stayed here a year ago and had a mixed experience. I liked the rooms but the washrooms had broken doors. I was unceremoniously shifted to another room halfway through my stay despite my concerns regarding one of the guests in that room that had made me and others uncomfortable through his violent (e.g. breaking a toilet seat by throwing it across the room) and creepy behaviour (staring at other guests and just going into bouts of laughter). I did like the variety in breakfast every morning as well as the Work and Travel girls that helped out a lot. That being said, the girls mentioned that they were being bullied to do unethical activities, for e.g. writing fake reviews to improve the hostel ratings, and one of the younger girls was asked to stay out waiting alone till about 3 AM just to hand over the keys to the owner/manager. Overall, the location is obviously great and the hostel isn't bad, but I do know there are much better options available.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was so comfortable and felt like a home plus the location was amazing.
