Lale Pension is run by the Agartan family in the most beautiful location on Lake Egirdir.
Ibrahim who manages it with the help of Muslum extends a warm welcome to their Turkish home to new visitors and to the many visitors that return to them every year.
Egirdir has not been spoiled by tourisuum and remains a very traditional town.
Ibrahim promotes all the wonderful amenities of this Turkish Lake District. The old name of Egirdir is Akrotiri and is located on the kale burnu peninsula.
Mr Unal Agartan rebuilt his fathers wooden house which was in the old castle.
When Ibrahim finished high school 27 years ago they made a radical desition to turn there home into a Pension. You will not just find comfortable accommodation but also help organising all your activities in Egirdir and the surrounding
Lale Pension
Lale pension overlooks the harbour behind the castle on the kale burnu Peninsular. A simple local house that has been newly renovated to a high standard.
The Pension is 20 meters form the lake side and 5 minutes to the town centre, bus station, post office and banks etc....
An attractive features of this Pension is that it does not feel like a hotel but has a warm welcoming atmosphere, making you feel part of the family.
Our wonderful Turkish breakfast is served as a buffet from 8 to 11 each morning. We serve a traditional home cooked dinner, if you would like to join us, please order before 5pm (if possible) so that we can collect fresh local ingredients for you meal.
Mother will cook all the meals, dogul and Sukarn will prepare the messe. Ibrahim or Muslum will barbarque the fish,chicken,kuftu etc... this will be served on our sun terrace,over looking Lake Egirdir,20 meters about the waters.
