Angelo Raguso (born in 1993) in Castellana Grotte (Bari - Italy) is a DJ, Producer and Label Owner.
Enter in the world of electronic music in 2010, after being introduced to the world of nightclubs by Simone Lp.
A Fine 2011, under the name "Ickarus Dj" he released his first ep 'Wird Alles Zerstoeren' containing three tracks with influences minimalist and electronic; the ep was released on the label Argentine VK Minimal Techno Label.This marks his first official release.
In 2012 he started producing and releasing many ep, singles, remixes and appears in many compilations for various Minimal and Techno Label, such as : Berlin Aufnahmen, Fish Rec, DC10 Records, Cubek, Identity Records and many more.
An old production made in 2011 is played by Solomun since mid-2011 until 2012, many nightclubs and poadcast around the world 'Mixmag Party ' , 'Dynamic RadioShow' , 'Cocoricò (Riccione, Italy)' , 'Creamfields - Cocoon Heroes - (Buenos Aires, Argentina)' , 'Mamacas (Grecia)' , 'Loveland (Amsterdam , Olanda)' . 'Extrema Outdoor (Belgio)' and many more !
In the summer of 2012 enters for the first time in beatport top 100, finishing in 74th place in the category with the Techno ep Judan remains two weeks in top behind monsters like Gaiser Unstable Witness and Soundtrack by Paul Kalkbrenner Berlin Calling.
Meanwhile closes 2012 with assets of about 30 productions.
2013 starts with a bang just before opening a record label called Boiler Underground Records, with his colleague Roberto Corso.
And February is again in beatport top 100, ranking 48th in the category Minimal whit the ep "South Europe Touch" out on Diamond Records , spending almost a month in the charts. While his remix for Dennis Smile, released on his own label Dark Smile Records, arrives at the 58th place in the same top 100 beatport minimal.
Also drastically changes the name of art, abandoning the nickname "Ickarus Dj", decides to release it under the original name "Angelo Raguso."
In March 2013 his remix for ReeWorks released on Cutoff Recordings appears among the front page featured in Beatport Minimal category.
Also in March 2013 exceeds the selections for a DJ contest, and April 13 will sound at the 696Club in Zurich, Switzerland, an event that marks his first official outside Italy.
Again play in Swiss 4 May on 696Club in Final of Dj Contest.
In April 2013, decleaired a own. contract whit Boiler Underground Records, after great result, ( 6° Top Minimal Release, 38, 89, 99, 100 Top Minimal Tracks from various artist : Kevin Coshner, Lucky Luck, Ardian LaMinim) on 4°months of work.After, open a new label called 'Chucky Records', and sign. dear Friends : Andrea Prete, Scraperz Noise, Minimal Flex and many more, only for Techno / Minimal artist.
Our track ' Pablo Escobar' make whit Chris DiStefano and Johnny Trotter Remix, out on DC10 Records, ranched #6 on Dj Tunes Top 100 Minimal Track after 4 day release, and our track ' Guy Fawkes' make with Roberto Corso with Damolh33 Remix, ranched #13 Top 100 Techno Tracks on Audiojelly and downloaded from M-nus on Soundcloud.
In may 2013, ranched place #70 on Top Minimal Release, with our track Guy Fawkes (Astra Teck Remix) out on BR Selection ( Berlin Aufnahmen Selection VOL.2)
