Yemen Valisi Hakki Pasa tarafindan “Divan Yolu” üzerinde yaptirilan Tarihi bina, 4.kusak aile üyeleri tarafindan aslina uygun olarak restore edildikten sonra, 2002 yilindan bu yana 3 kat türk ve dünya mutfagi 3 kat balik restauranti 1 kat sarap kati olarak COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT adiyla misafirlerini agirliyor. Ayni zamanda isletmenin yöneticiligini üstlenen aile üyelerinden Yunus Kasrat, Cozy Balik restoraninin dogusunu söyle anlatiyor. Edirne"de yillar boyunca Rum ve Musevi dostlarimizla bir arada yasiyarak, kültürel ve sosyal alisveriste bulunduk. Rahmetli Babamin AGORA adini verdigi ve 45 yil çalistirdigi lokantamizda, Istanbul"da eksikligi hissedilmeye baslayan sicak ortamlardaki masa basi sohbetleri ve özenle hazirlanan özgün meze ve yemeklerle büyüdük. Ailemizden yadigar olan bu tarihi binada yine o güzel günleri, doyumsuz tatlar esliginde canlandirmayi hayal ediyorduk. Bu düsüncemizi, COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT adi altinda isletiyoruz.
Tüm katlardaki mutfaklarin asçibasiligini üstlenen Nihat Kasrat, uzun yillar içinde edindigi tecrübesi ve yöreye özel unutulmaya yüz tutmus reçeteleri ile aile gelenegini Istanbul"da da devam ettiriyor. Istanbul"un hiçbir yerinde tadamayacaginiz lezzetteki "havyar tarama ve mamzanasinin tutkunu olacaksiniz “COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT”, ahtapot izgara ve salamura Kekik salatasi, kuzu kulagi, isirgan otu, kaz ayagi,şevketi bostan gibi doganin insan sagligina yararli otlarindan hazirlanan mezeleri ile balik keyfinize keyif katacak.
The historical building, which was constructed by the Governor of Yemen, Hakki Pasha, on “Divan Yolu”, was restored in compliance with its original, by the 4th generation family members and it is entertaining its guests since 2002 under the title COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT, as 3 floors Turkish and world cuisines, 3 floors as fish restaurant and 1 floor as wine floor. Yunus Kasrat, one of the family members who also had undertaken the operation at the same time, describes the birth of the fish restaurant as follows: We lived in Edirne for years and made cultural and social exchanges with our Greek and Jewish friends. We were grew up in our restaurant, which named as AGORA by my deceased father and where he had worked for 45 years, with the table chats in a cozy environment and special appetizers and meals that are prepared with care; of which the absence is started to be felt in Istanbul. We were imagining to bring into life those beautiful days again, accompanied by delicious tastes in this historical building, which is a memory from our family. We are realizing this idea under the title COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT
Nihat Kasrat, who had undertaken the position of the cook for the kitchens on all the floors, is continuing this family tradition in Istanbul also, with his experience which was acquired through the long years, and with his recipes that are special to the region which are about to be forgotten. You will be addicted to “caviar tarama and mamzara”, which has a taste that you can not find anywhere else in Istanbul. COZY PUB & COZY BALIK RESTAURANT will increase your fish pleasure with its appetizers that are prepared from the nature’s herbs which are beneficial for human health such as octopus grill and pickled thyme salad, dodder, dead nettle, goosefoot, blessed thistle.
