I can agree with the previous comment. The hotel sucks))) It's a third-class hotel. The rooms are not new, especially the bathroom and cleaning seemed to depend only on good or bad mood of the cleaning woman (we even left her tips to experiment, but except flowers on the bed almost nothing changed). To all your questions the staff always answers "It's not a problem, tomorrow." You should insist on "today". Especially insist on giving you a larger room, otherwise they give you a very small room. And ask them to change the room if you don't like. The hotel is never full, they have a lot of other free rooms. The breakfast was poor - cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, cornflakes. But I liked their bread and buns. And during the day you can drink water, juice and coffee for free in the lobby. Never order dinner at this hotel unless you are vegetarian))). During two weeks we had soup, rice, eggplants and beans every evening. Rarely chicken. The best thing at the hotel was the pool where we were almost alone all the time. And wi fi worked rather well everywhere. In general, the hotel is quiet, nobody and nothing bothered us. It is located in the old town and you have a lot of things to see around. It is beautiful and I really liked the atmosphere, the old streets and green parks. The beach is close, but it is small and rocky, and you feel like sardines in the can there especially on weekend. It's not a bad alternative to big crowded hotels. But anyways I recommend to choose another place to stay in Kaleiçi .

This hotel sucks ... i mean absolutely. For all the following reasons. 1. Came in to check in with the receptionist, who seems to suffer from the grumpy-for-no-reason syndrome. She speaks english but when she doesnt feel like it, pretends to not understand you and share a joke in turkish with her colleague across in the bar and they both laugh presumably at you. As if your request to change the unclean sheets in bed was as absurd as if i asked for an upgrade to business class coz i felt a bit woozy in the economy seats. 1. standard rooms are extremely small. I mean tiny even 2 higgs boson particles would have found it a little crampy. 1. The whole building creeks so much that a pin dropped in any corner of the whole hotel is amplified into every room. I think i even heard some roaches talking in the night. 1. The toilets were not cleaned perhaps in months. i am not like my wife who picks on stray limescales. I am talking about "there were feaces stains stuck on the walls of the commode" dirty. 1. the cleaner literally made us wait for an hour outside the room after we checked in as she was not ready cleaning the room yet even thought we came good 2-3 hours after the scheduled checkin time. when asked her to change soiled but re-arranged for re-use without wash sheets and clean the toilet, she became extremely sarcastic in her behavior. 1. Breakfast is crap. eat outside. you might get food poised as i could see fungus on some of the cornflakes. in any case, as one other reviewer pointed out, they say its open from 7-10 but if you get there by 9, you can see no food, and all the staff sitting and eating away whatever is left of the semi edible menu. 1. Since its in old city, the only plus of this hotel, u expect a bit of noise, but this hotel street is extremely noisy and as i mentioned earlier, the construct of this hotel is probably so predated that it is built to amplify every tiny sound anywhere in the whole of old town. No, closing windows and doors is not going to help, even TV(if that works) with high volume will be drained with the external noise. 1. lastly, the 7th day of our package tour by www_detur_se, we had an early morning 5am flight to catch, the scheduled prepaid shuttle taxi did not arrive at all on time. we alongwith other swedish tourists got frustrated waiting at 230am and woke up the receptionist to call the detur guys and let them send us, he instead called a taxi and almost made is pay for it by again pretending to not understand english when all the times before he could especially when trying to sell city tour packages and forced room upgrades. I would not send my worst enemies to this place to stay. if you really want to stay in kaleici old town and explore, you are better off sleeping on the street in a rugsack than pay this hotel 7000 SEK for 7 nights.
