Hikayemiz

Akbaşoğlu Shipping Group entered the trade world with Akbaşoğlu Oil Transportation Ltd., which was founded in 1972 by Mr. Kemal Akbaşoğlu.

The group presently owns 7 Imo 2 Chemical and Oil Tankers which are trading world wide. All of them being built 2001 and onwards and having an age average of 4 years, the company's goal is to add tonnage and maintain the existing young and modern fleet in order to meet our customer's needs and satisfaction.

Customer Satisfaction is one of our core values. Our first priority is to meet the expectations of our customers at the highest possible way. Our commitment is to facilitate safe loading, safe delivery and safe discharge with in the boundaries of the quickest and safest dispatch.

While providing our service, our main responsibility is to pay the utmost care to safeguard both the environment and human health and to take all the preventive measures. Therefore, our first priority is to fully train our crew before joining any of our vessels and to arrange further training once the crew is onboard. We are committed to achieve zero incidents to our crew and the environment.
